The C Drive
I found this poem on the C drive of the computer at my new job. This and many, many cover letters from many, many different people who sat there before me. Makes me wonder about my position….and the people who held it before.
a spiral of delicate bone
resting
on the empty
belfry ledge
above
verticals planes
leaning north
into the wind
vast open forms
stacked
form
the precarious tower
whose belly warms
the cold earth

Man, I wonder if you’ll start writing poetry at work… or start slacking off in some way… like writing on a blog or somethi… HEY!
