Hot Dog!
I was just thinking how boring my week has been. Other than having our land line disconnected not much has been happening…. I did however go see M. Ward, The Shins and The White Stripes in Coney Island on Sunday. We missed M. Ward (my fav of the bunch) but the Shins were fun to watch and who can complain when you see Jack White covering Love Sick by Dylan.
My favorite part of the show was before the tickets even made it to our hands (Steve forgot them in QUEENS and had to go back). We hit the original Nathan’s for hot dogs and $3 Corona. It was nice to get one last whiff of sea air and hot dog and cheap beer as fall descends on us. If only I could get more of those nights listening to M. Ward live….I wouldn’t mind eating a hot dog with him either.
